Bad gangsters meet Kill Bill

This was a crappy movie. I left after 45 minutes. Don't even bother looking at the trailer or reading the synopsis.

A stunningly gorgeous film about deplorably ugly people and their actions. A story about the U.S. Economy through the prism of small time organized crime.

Set against the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election, it's a cynical and bleak vision of the New American Dream. A rousing crowd dis-pleaser that will leave most viewers railing against it, refusing to admit how devastatingly astute it actually is.

a little odd

So I had no idea what this movie was about when I went to go see it. I saw a trailer, it looked interesting, and that night, me and a buddy went.
The movie is different. I'll tell you that. But give it a chance. It may not be the best movie you've ever seen, but it tells a good story with some good twists, (even if you do see em coming, lol.)

Overall, it was good. So give it a try.

Killing them Softly

This movie will take it's rightful place in the Hollywood Walk of shame. It has a horrible ending, poor plot line, and a muddled Political Message. According to this movie, America is a bad, bad place full of mindless assassins and evil poorly defined corporate entities. But, if you are going to denigrate this great country do it with a much better movie than this piece of Liberal Biased Crap.

boring and slow

I love mob movies and I don't mind violence. I thought the movie was boring (almost feel asleep) and I didn't care about the characters. Oh well...

good bad and the political

It could have been a half-hour movie. It kind if dragged on and I didn't feel emotionally invested in any of the characters other than brad Pitt. Plus there was a lot of anti-politcal propaganda as an undertone - all building to the final 'punch line' of the movie. I didn't appreciate that. It's saving moments were the comedic one liners and the art- especially when someone was killed. So-so!

One of my list of "Worse Top Ten" movies of all time

This was the most disjoined, jerky, poorly written wait of time I've seen since I went to see the Master, another one on my "Worse List"...the Master, "Talking to Goats" and a few Chuck Noris movies.

Killing Them softly

Terrible movie - the theater should be embarrassed to charge for this DOG. Thought because Brad Pitt was in it, it would be worth seeing. It was VERY SLOW, VERY BLOODY - truly can't think of ONE redeeming this about this film. If the goal was to show an extremely seedy side of life it succeeded - that's the only thing it succeeded in doing.

This was the most disgusting movie I have ever seen. I walked out about a third of the way through it and I am able to sit through some pretty bad movies. Don't waste your time or money.

Killing Them Softly

The WORST movie I have ever seen!!! I was there with three other people who feel the same.

Our biggest dilemma was figuring out when to walk out. I have never walked out of movie before, Killing Them Softly warranted our retreat.

We should have known when we walked into the theater and there were only five other people.

I wouldn't even rent this one.

Kill me quickly!

The action was sparse. The movie was slow. It was a good nap. If you must see it, wait for Netflix!

Bad monitor

Great Movie!

Loved it! At first I was skeptical but I'm very glad I watched it. It was humorous, entertaining, action, and one of the best endings ever! A must watch if u are into mafia movies :)
