Just saw this movie, Mathew reminded me of his role in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 and even had a line about wearing a face. I would have loved to see this on the stage, the movie worked well for me, but to have these people breathing in the same room would have added to the intensity. Not all characters are created equal in this film, Dootie steals every scene going up against Joe that is a mighty task. The 1st date has so much tension and tenderness that I felt like I was on a roller coaster. Maybe the ending is obvious, but who cares I wanted to get there, maybe not as quick, but yeah I wanted to be there. I lived in Texas and in a trailer park (not in Texas) and this really brought me home. I'll never look at a can of pumpkin pie filling the same way again. This is not a movie for everyone, I am glad it got a NC17 to scare away some prudes, The theater was quiet in some scenes and laughing their asses off in others. Possibly inappropriately, but then this movie is not appropriate.

Talk about stupid idiots and trailer trash! Gina Gershin and Mathew McConahey were FANTASTICK. You will laugh your ***off at how stupid these criminals are. Great performances but not for the kids. NC-17 rating because of nudity and I mean FULL FRONTAL both men and women....

I am not from here but, I guess this movie represents very well the redneck and the white-trash in United State. It was very funny!!!

The best movie I've seen all year. The entire cast is superb and every moment is riveting and exciting. I predict it will be nominated for an Oscar, brilliant performances.

I read some positive fan reviews and we gave it a try. Well, there are a few laughs like the chicken leg scene, but this is all about stupid people, wicked people, and violence. Sound good? then go see it. Even though it's a different role for Matthew McConaughey, his Texas persona reminded us of his role in Bernie.
