Great ADULT Follow-up

Unlike the first Kick-***movie, I would have to say this is not in any way kid friendly. With that being said it was a great follow-up! Nothing at all what I was expecting. Great action and keeps the action moving throughout.

Kick-***2

Those that say Kick-***2 is better than the first one are crazy. The dynamic between the Big Daddy and his daughter - (pre-teen) Hit-Girl cannot be replaced here. BUT kick-***2 is solid. Go see it. (note-The Original Kick-***Was A Masterpiece)

big fan of number one...this one a bit tortured and I can do without all the cop killing thanks. A bit turned off, but I went home and watched one again on my XPS and enjoyed it all over again. Watch one again for fun and skip two.

Change the language and this is a terrorist recruitment feature

Sorry, but the personalized viscera goes too far too often and the portrayal of addiction to violence is none other than the promises made to youth by terrorist training camps worldwide. Just change the language and the costume. NOT ENTERTAINMENT. Scary. We have a choice about our future and in a Nation that is choosing to be polarized on life-and-death issues like cutting a government check for elders with no other option, a film like this is like pouring gasoline on all those gun sales. Since this film does NOTHING to reflect on that, and will, inevitably, over time (DVD, etc) be seen by a whole generation of teens and tween makes these thoughts that much more relevant to the question of future. I said So-So because it might be good for others who do think to check it out...FYI

Worth the money but not as good as the first

KICK-***was a surprisingly good movie that both my wife and I enjoyed so we both wanted to see Kick-***2. 2 was a good movie with all the hyper-violence of the first but with little of the surprises that made the first one so good. I can suspend belief as long as the scenes are consistent with the story line and premise of the movie. The final battle scene really was a bit of a stretch in that regard. The major issue that I had with the movie was that it was a bit slow between the action with little of the comedy of the first. The movie is worth seeing but just don't expect too much.
