I went to this movie because I wanted to be cheered up, and all the other movies playing seemed somewhat dark. I was delighted to find it was a great choice. I am not familiar with Katie Perry's music, but thought it was more than passable. The stage show was fantastic fun. Her fans were enthusiastic. It was an eye opener to see how devoted her fans were, around the world. I was totally taken back by the work she and her team have put into the tour, and the personal toll it wound up taking on her and her relationships. Some of the movie is heartbreaking. Some parts are very moving. She shares her whole life, warts and all. She spends a great deal of the movie without makeup (and she's still a total babe). I'm impressed with the movie, and now count myself a fan of the lady. I say GO! You'll have a good time.

Took my God Daughter and we came out loving Katy Perry even more. We went to the concert last year and after watching the movie we felt like we relived it but with an awesome backstage pass. Worth watching in 3D you will feel like you are right by her.

Wasn't a fan. Thought her music was for kids. Saw her on Leno and decided to see the movie the next day. I really enjoyed it. Just downloaded her album. Now a fan.

We absolutely loved this movie! We were fans of Katy Perry before, but now after the movie, even bigger fans. Like my daughter said, this was like going to one of her concerts, at a much cheaper price, and up close! We also loved learning about her story and seeing the real side of being a celebrity. This is a must-see movie!!

Go see this, so inspirational. What a great invite into her world. We really enjoyed it. Took my 18 yr old daughter and 11 yr old niece.
