You get intertwined between a great backstage and stage look at her world tour, her ultra religous upbringing, her friends and family that surround her and the very sad realization that her marriage has ended. It all works out in a perfect order to keep you completely entertained and you may even shed a few tears. I left the movie at the end with three things on my mind: 1. I must buy the Katy Perry CD. 2. I want to give that girl a big hug. 3. I want to see her a year from now, well rested with a new CD and (if she so chooses) a man that respects and loves her for who she is!
Awesome film, great message for kids: work hard and your dreams may come true. Katy Perry is the real deal; friendly, honest, loyal and LOADS of fun!!! I am taking my daughters tomorrow to see it again and am going to rock my bright pink (Katy Perry) lipstick to the theatre.

If you are a fan of Katy Perry, you'll like the movie. It was surprisingly heart-wrenching because of the Katy/Russell divorce. Her obvious anguish before going on stage in Brazil was difficult to watch.

I took my granddaughter, grandson and niece to see the movie. They had been really excited and they loved it. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie myself. Her story was engrossing. It was also very sad to see her heartbreak at her marriage dissolving at the time of her greatest career peaks. It was a very good documentary and a great story of a young lady's desire to achieve her dreams and reaching that ultimate dream (not without some pits to climb out of).

Im not one for movie reviews but after seeing the midnight showing of Katy Perry Part of Me 3D last night, all I want to do is see it again. Its a great movie for the whole family, and it shows that show business isnt always fun and games. Katy lets us into the most intimate part of her family life, tour, and marriage, and it left me having a new found respect for her. Great movie, great music, dont miss it!

I do not agree with all of Katy Perry's songs and do not think all of them are appropriate for children, BUT I did thoroughly enjoy this movie. It is a good movie about discovering self and if I had the choice to see it again I would. Very well put together. If you or anyone you know likes Katy Perry, they will LOVE this movie! Glad I went!
