    Entertained from start to finish

    by Aidan M

This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It takes you on an inspiring journey into Katy Perry's life that makes you feel like anyone can be famous with enough work. She is not afraid to show her dark times as well as her happiest moments. It is great for kids and is an emotional roller coaster.

Katy Perry: Part of Me 3d

I took my granddaughter, grandson and niece to see the movie. They had been really excited and they loved it. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie myself. Her story was engrossing. It was also very sad to see her heartbreak at her marriage dissolving at the time of her greatest career peaks. It was a very good documentary and a great story of a young lady's desire to achieve her dreams and reaching that ultimate dream (not without some pits to climb out of).

    Katy Perry Part of Me

I really enjoyed this movie a lot. Katy Perry has been one of my favorite singers for awhile now, and they did a really great job of showing what it is like to be so widely admired around the world. I also appreciated the fact that they brought a lot of her best songs to the movie screen--not everyone can always afford to go to an expensive concert, and for those of us who can't, this was a great opportunity to see her performances and how she puts on a show for young people across the world. I very much enjoy this movie, because it took a deep look into what it's like to be consumed by your work as a musician and an entertainer. ROCK ON KATY!

'Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D' review

Katy Perry: Part of Me is inspiring. It shows you how the California Dreams tour was put together, and all the hard work and dedication Katy put together to make sure that her fans got the best experience possible. And it really was the best experience. I went to the California Dreams tour in November and had a blast! I fell in love with Katy Perry all over again. I think being a part of the tour made it much more emotional and surreal.

It also showed you Katy's life before she became famous, her struggles with getting a record company to pick her up, her homeless life in LA, how she inspired her fans, and her life with religious parents. You also got to see her as a little kid, and she was so cute!

I've been reading reviews of the movie, and critics are really hating on it! I understand how some people wouldn't like it, but I think this was mostly for the KatyCat's, which is why you hear nothing but good reviews from her fans.

i was going into the film with low expectations

and everything about the film exceeded them. i must say i was a huge fan (she is my girlcrush) before the film but if i hated her and was forced to go, i think i would come out of the film at least respecting her to the fullest. it didn't feel like a "concert movie" it just felt like she was sitting down and talking to her fans. the key part where it touches on the personal relationship, is probably the most heart wrenching scenes ever, but it was so nice to see someone so "perfect" go through something we all do. she allows us to go through it with her. loved it so much, am going to see it again.

Worth the price of the ticket!

I'm an Iowa grandma who has never heard a Katy Perry song or her life until tonight.
This movie showed us Katy's life and I wasn't bored for one second nor was my 39 year old daughter. We loved it. Katy does give a lot of herself and dreams to her fans/shows. Let's not judge people, but accept them for who they are. The music is meaningful, which I appreciated. A lot of movie in an hour and 37 minutes.

    Katy Perry:Part of Me 3D

My granddaughter and I saw this last night and would highly recommend it. We expected a huge crowd, but unfortunately the theater was abut 2/3 full. Katy's story was interesting and enlightning. The entertainment portion was fabulous with great showmanship. It does a great job of showing how much stamina and dedication it takes to be a super star. It also pointed out the lack of glamour in her off stage life. My only suggestion is that you not pay the extra for the 3D version. There were very few 3D effects (some bubbles and streaks of light). The story and entertainment itself can carry this movie well without the 3D. If you like Katy at all GO!

    Great movie about discovering self

I do not agree with all of Katy Perry's songs and do not think all of them are appropriate for children, BUT I did thoroughly enjoy this movie. It is a good movie about discovering self and if I had the choice to see it again I would. Very well put together. If you or anyone you know likes Katy Perry, they will LOVE this movie! Glad I went!

    Katy Perry Rocks!

    by gstrati

Loved the movie - but I love her, and you have to at least like her to enjoy the movie...but it gives some backgound info I didn't know and I found in interesting to learn more of her background and how hard she worked to get to where she is today!

    Surprisingly Good

I went to this movie because I wanted to be cheered up, and all the other movies playing seemed somewhat dark. I was delighted to find it was a great choice. I am not familiar with Katie Perry's music, but thought it was more than passable. The stage show was fantastic fun. Her fans were enthusiastic. It was an eye opener to see how devoted her fans were, around the world. I was totally taken back by the work she and her team have put into the tour, and the personal toll it wound up taking on her and her relationships. Some of the movie is heartbreaking. Some parts are very moving. She shares her whole life, warts and all. She spends a great deal of the movie without makeup (and she's still a total babe). I'm impressed with the movie, and now count myself a fan of the lady. I say GO! You'll have a good time.

    Katy Peerry Movie

It truly gives you a side of Katy that makes you appreciate her talent the effort she gave to her marriage to Russell. Sure makes him look like a guy who didn't give anything to the relationship!

    Super cute

I took my teenage daughter to see this, and I did because I love her :) I thought this movie was cute and very entertaining. It was great to see how real Katy was and how much her fans, friends, and family love and support her. Some parts even made me get teary eyed.
It is a great movie for all ages!

    Liked it!

Wasn't a fan. Thought her music was for kids. Saw her on Leno and decided to see the movie the next day. I really enjoyed it. Just downloaded her album. Now a fan.
