A woman investigating a bloody killing discovers there might be a metaphysical solution to the crime in this horror story from director Jerome Cohen-Olivar. Nyla Jayde (Amira Casar) is a well-respected lawyer who has been emotionally devastated by the unexpected passing of her child. Trying to find her way back to stability through her work, Nyla agrees to represent a woman who is accused of murdering her husband. While some believe the husband was killed in an act of self-defense, the accused insists she is innocent and that her mate was executed by Kandisha, a vengeful spirit who preys upon men who abuse women. Nyla is certain her client must be insane, but the deeper she digs into the facts of the case, the more she wonders if Kandisha (or something like it) might be real and walking the Earth.
