First, let me say that my 13 year-old son enjoyed the Jurassic Park 3D and when I discussed it with him afterward, he didn't not have anything negative to say about the movie. I am old enough to be my son's grandfather, so you can take this critique with that in mind. Movies are created more with someone my son's age than mine.
With all of the technology available to us today, I do not think that 3D has advanced since the original "House of Wax" in the 1960's when I hit my head on the back of my seat when the villian of the movie threw a burning torch at me and I tried to duck. The glasses were made of paper back then and one lense was green and the other was red. The shades they have us wear nowadays loses some of the background and I had the feeling that most of the movie was filmed at twilight. As I said, I'm old and maybe it's my cataracts.
I had watched Jurassic Park before and I was ready for it. Unfortunately the previous viewing years ago made the movie rather borin

Jurassic Park was one of my favorite movies of all time. To be able to see it in 3D was a great opportunity. I highly recommend to watch this movie in 3D. 3D made this original film way better. You could buy the movie or watch it online, but they would not compare to the experience given by 3D.

I don't even care that I can pick out faults in the movie now that I am older. This movie will forever remain among my favorites and it still captivates my imagination like it did 20 years ago.
I actually think this was one of the best 3D movies I have seen to date. I thought the 3D effect was better in Jurassic Park that it was in Avatar and Alice in Wonderland.

Even though I have all three Jurassic Park movies (in VHS) I just had to check out the 3D version. Though it's not a real 3D, the effects are there after being remastered. Sound is good but a home system with lots of bass can do the same thing.
Worth going to see especially if you can get a matinee as a senior to save some money.

I was really excited to finally be able to go to this movie as I did not see it when it came out. My girls (14,12 & 9) also saw the preview and were excited as well. I was very disappointed at how slow moving (boring) it was until the hunt began. (Dinosaurs hunting people) That is when it became very predicable. That along with body parts flying around made it somewhat inappropriate for the kids. I was tempted to give it a so-so rating just because of the Dinosaurs but I couldn't justify it. (they are only actually on screen for 6 minutes the entire movie and I don't think its worth it to sit through the other 2 hours.
