First off I am a huge fan of this movie and remember very vividly seeing it 2 times when it was originally out in the theater in 93. I have been anxiously awaiting for months when I first heard this was going to be re-released in 3D. I must say, in Real D 3D, this movie was amazing! It was really awesome to see things with depth and the realistic feel when the dinosaurs jump at you. Some parts have more depth than others although it was all very much worth going to see it. If you have seen it before- check it out on the big screen, you will really enjoy it.. if its your first time seeing it- be ready for a wild ride.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. The quality was really good and 3D makes you feel that you're right there. I would recommend this movie.

It was worth seeing again in 3D this time. So intense and kept us on the edge of our seats. Saw it when it was first released. It seems so mild compared to seeing it in 3D. Would highly recommend to those who have seen it to see it in 3D.

Jurassic Park 3D

It was a different view from scenes, for example you were actually in the car with the kids when the attack happened. The sound was enhanced so you heard things not on the orginal movie. Plus you could see more things like you were there. If you are a Jurassic Fan you will love it.

First, I should mention that this was my first time seeing a film in "RealD 3D." I had seen other films in Dolby 3D and Imax 3D and found both hurt my eyes and began to give me a headache about halfway through the movie. RealD 3D is perhaps not as immersive as the other types of 3D technology but is easier on the eyes and the actual video and audio quality (I think) is slightly better than Dolby 3D or Imax 3D. With that said, Jurassic Park is masterpiece that I've seen at least 50 times in the last 20 years (yeah I kind of like it) , so it was easy for me to pick up on the differences between this restored version and previous versions of the film. Honestly I was more impressed with the enhanced quality of the sound than I was with the 3D depth of each scene. Lines that were unintelligible (even at high volume) on DVD were suddenly crystal clear. Conclusion: If you've never seen JP, this is a MUST SEE. If you've seen it a few times (but don't know it by heart) it's still worth going.
