Judy Moody an dthe Not Bummer Summer

    by mcbair

This is a great family movie! The past few years some of these movies have been targeted toward children but have been laced with adult comedy and inuendos, this was definetly not the case. I went with my 7-year old, but there were pre-teens/teens and preschool age children in there and they all laughed throughout the film and left out excited and eager to talk about it. I enjoyed that it was a normal, typical family environment that many could relate to and they addressed several issues of a typical middle class family. Each actor played their role really well and I liked how the producer didn't feel the need to have huge Hollywood names playing the parts. This morning at my daughter's soccer game, I was raving about the film and encouraging all of the families to go see it! This will definietly be DVD purchase for the family archives when it is released. Judy Moody and the crew get 4 thumbs up from my daughter and I.

    JUDY MOODY

LOVED IT! WAS NOT TOO SILLY OR UNREALISTIC. I TOOK MY 4 & 6 YR OLD GRANDAUGHTERS AND THEY ARE BOTH STILL TALKING ABOUT IT. IT WAS GOOD, CLEAN FUN FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS. WOULD PROBABLY BE GREAT FOR AGES 5-12 BUT
CUTE ENOUGH FOR THE ADULTS TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY IT WITHOUT WONDERING WHEN IT WOULD END! CHARACTERS ARE VERY LIKEABLE.

    Good Kid Movie Pretty Much

First, let me say my 8 year old daughter enjoyed this movie very much and sat through the whole thing without moving. Second, I really enjoyed this movie with the exception of the boy who played Judy's brother. I had a very difficult time understanding the words coming out of his mouth and it was very distracting. But overall I would recommend taking the kids to it.

    Get it on Netflix.. Maybe

    by

Did not like it one bit! Disney movies are way funnier.
As a parent I give it a thumbs down. Maybe for a sleepover
    girls night, would be good.

    Kids loved it

    by tonick6

I took kids ranging in age from 3 -10 and they all loved it. As an adult it was better than a lot of kids movies out there.

    comedy went horribly wrong!

    by yihua

Cheesy comedy that doesn't even raise a smile on kids faces. The plot was horrible, the acting was terrible, DONT WATCH! This is movie is clearly all wrong; the title is wrong and even the movie poster

    Judy Moody

I thought this character was terrible! She was worse than Junie B Jones! I guess the kids probably liked it.. it was ok..

    Judy Moody is a Cutie!

My daughter (10) went to see this movie together and it was very enjoyable. I say enjoyable in that it held her attention and she found it amusing. I was a little grossed out by some of the scenes, but it's a kids move and the kids in the audience really like it. It had a good message and good story line, although a little quirky and zany. I liked it and we will probably buy the DVD when it's available.

    very cute and well-made...

    by

This movie was well done, and enjoyable to watch with my 7-yr old son and 10-yr old daughter. They both loved it! If your kids like the Judy Moody books, the will especially love this move. Highly recommend!
