Verdict is In - YOU MUST SEE THIS STUNNING FILM

Stanley Kramer's very personal 1961 masterwork is an unflinching, incredibly fourthright and thought provoking account of the infamous trials held in Germany in the late 1940s to expose and convict war criminals. Spencer Tracy heads a high voltage, all-star cast as the retired, mid-western disctrict court judge assigned to preside over the cases involving high level judges who may or may not have used their power to send millions to their doom during the Holocaust. Presents both sides of the morality question from every conceivable angle, most notably through the razor sharp, Oscar-winning performance ot Maximilian Schell who plays the exacting defense attorney of the convicted men who becomes almost obsessed with preserving German dignity. Others in the cast shine in - especially Judy Garland playing against type as an horribly mistreated hausfrau and Montgomery Clift as the poor soul who was "sterilized" by Nazi hands. You won't soon forget this immensely powerful movie!!
