it was a great movie action packed!!!!
Corny, cheesy, but watchable anyway.
This movie was corny. I can't really talk about the acting because it wasn't a movie made for phenomenal acting. Brendan Fraser was good and had his usual funny moments a la "the Mummy", but what was good were the visual effects and animation. That's really why I wanted to see it anyway. The phone call in the center of the earth? Come on. I can't get reception in basements, but I suppose if they are in the center of the earth anything is possible.
I absolutely love Brandon Frazier!! This film is absolutely fantastic!! It had everything...romance, action, family, excitement, drama, etc. It was a perfect family film and yet thrill seekers I think would also like it. It is a very rare and well blended film. Not every actor could have pulled this film off.......but these guys were great!!! A must see!! You could watch it a hundred times and never get bored.
It's like a rollercoaster. Summer blockbusters tend to be heavy on special effects, light on character interaction/develpment/plot/etc. This was a fun movie, but not a classic. I'm sure it looked really amazing in 3-D, but that doesn't change what was lacking in the first place.
