  A Warm, Kid-Friendly Film With Lots of Heart.

  You shouldn?t expect too much from this movie going in but you'll definitely find it worth seeing. Even given today's generation of overly stimulated kids, this movie won't elicit rasberries and groans from the younger teens and as for the littler kids, it's right up their alley. Lots of visual stimulation and fun characters brought to life by players like Dwayne Johnson and Michael Caine, bring excitement and just a little mystery to the mix. This movie's no blockbuster but instead delivers that old fashioned kind of family movie fun. The kind that relies on visuals, suggestions and a little tale to capture the audience's imagination. See it with your kids or send them on their own. You're safe doing either one and definitely won't be disappointing them or yourself in doing so.

  If you Don't have to be a blood and guts movie person and want something you can take your kids to, then this is the movie to go to. 2 Thumbs up!

  Wow - Fun, Exciting around every turn. A Movie Truly Made for 3D !!!!! Excellent.
  
  A movie for All ages...My wife and I saw it in IMAX - 3D. The movie kept us on the edge of our seats. It was fun...we enjoyed a lot.

  Journey 2

  I loved this movie I went with my 10 yr. old grandson and we both found it very entertaining and very exciting. It was a great movie night out.

  Clean family adventure

  This movie was very worthy of good clean family viewers. Love the Rock and his strong character values. No foul language and positive relationship bonding. I also loved the special effects. Just a couple scenes that were on the " rough and tumble " side..but all was in part of protection not conflict. May be alittle scary for the age of five and under due to the massive size creatures- unless they have already been exposed to this element of special effects due to having older siblings such as it was with my children.
  Action,humor,positive relationship building,treasure seeking, clean family movie! Way to go Rock! ! This will definitely be another movie of his that will be added to our DVD collection when released!

  Journey 2

  We loved it. The Rock was great and Michael Caine was wonderful. I loved the backdrop and wished I could replicate in my bedroom...love the giant bees and the technology used. My son enjoyed it too, and so did the response from the others in the Theater..

  very fun...

  About What I Expected

  I primarily went because a close friend wanted to see this movie. I had fairly low expectations going in. It ended up about what I expected, but to be fair there were some things worth noting.
  --The animation that accompanied the screenplay was actually well done.
  --The story line was reasonably interesting & was consistent throughout the movie.
  --The actors & actresses did a very decent job.
  
  It is primarily a movie for the younger folks (pre-teen). Overall, I rather enjoyed it, so if you like this type of movie, it may be worth your while to go see it.

  Journey 2 was a pleasant surprise!

  We went to the movie expecting it to be so-so. I thought it was much better than the first Journey movie. We recommend Journey 2 to anyone that is looking for a funny/adventure movie!

  I really liked this movie.

  I went with my two grandchildren and my daughter-in-law and the four of us really enjoyed this movie. It has adventure, suspense, surprise and a good ending. I think its great to take the kids to. My two grandchildren are: girl 6 and boy 11. The scenery was colorful the acting was good. We left with smiles on our faces.

  Excellent for families

  Lots of action, mysteries to solve, not too violent, and lushly colored. (I'm sick of grey, dark movies.) My boys 4 and 8 really liked it. Maybe they'll want to read the classic books mentioned in it.

  fun

  I liked it a lot the adventure good good good , If you like the rock well go see him he looks awesome and same killer smile and body, his acting who cares when he can make you laugh right?
  The story is predictable but it was entretaining and the colors and the camera making yoou feel you r flying to it was really good.
  Good movie to watch in the theater .

  Great Movie for All

  Foul launguage, racey scenes, killing are not a part of this movie and it was great. Good laughs, great action, and beautiful scenes. A must see for families and people of all ages. Why can't more movies be like this??? 5 STARS in my book.

  Yawn

  Just saw J2 with wife and 2 boys. Mediocre at best. Acting is terrible especially whiney Luis Guzman. 3D effects were average. Story drags at times despite the short run time of the movie. My boys are in 3rd and 5th grade and they were bored. Save your money -- not worth the 43 bucks I spent. Can only hope they didn't lay the groundwork for the sequel on the moon

  Boring

  As a babysitter I have to sit through many of these kid films, but this one seemed especially boring slow and predictable. I even asked the kids (4th graders) what they thought of it and they said it was either too long, too short or simply too slow. They also fell asleep during the movie, so if you think its nap time then maybe this movie is for you.
