"All That Echoes" Live

I went to see the "All That Echoes live"at a near by theater Feb. 4th. It was my first live theater concert. It was as if Josh was singing just for me. It was awesome! I went to see Josh when he came to Indianapolis last year and even though he was great. I didn't get to be as close as I was in that theater. As I said before, it was as if he was singing just for me. I would go again and again and I would highly recommend that anyone who has doubts dismiss them. There was no down side to the concert at all, not even the price! 12.50 compared to well over 100.00 dollars for a concert of this caliber. What have you got to lose? Try it. I hope this catches on, I would love to see Rascel Flats and other great acts in a theater concert as well. Bravo to the creator of this idea!! Thanks, J

Not live

Was only live ET, not PT. Number posted to send questions was no good. He only showed up because it was filmed. Cancels actual concerts in order to appear in front of cameras. Should have been at real concert/ venue on the West coast at 1630 PT so would be live in North America with all fans instead of a few overly devoted eastern Grobanites.

Josh Groban Live All That Echoes

If this was the best Fathom Events can do? The criticizm is all technical.Really bad sound engineering! There was no sense of "presence" in the experiance; I felt like I was watching a 20 ft HD TV screen with worst sound. There was no sound engineering involved or maybe the engineering that should have taken place in NYC at the Lincoln Center was inadequate I don't know where the failure was but the event was awful... Normally during a "PBS Great Performances" or "Live From Lincoln Center" performance the sound is balanced so even from your home HDTV a concert is still a wonderful show to watch from your living room sofa. This was awful. The theater I was watching in did not have all of the surround sound on. The engineering from NYC was tinny and harsh to listen to or over-reverbed in spots where the output sounded mangled. The camera direction was also amature-ish swinging all over the stage with harsh close ups and pull backs that I found very annoying. This is not Josh Groban

Josh Groban concert

If Josh does this again, you've got to go. I've seem him live in concert twice, and it's almost like being there. The advantage - you can see him UP CLOSE. The disadvantage - there's a level of excitement and engagement that can't be achieved watching by remote. But it was great. He's very personable and funny, and there's just nothing else like that voice anywhere in the whole wide world.

As a long time fan this venue was great! It was very well done, I would expect nothing less, it was inexpensive compared to concert tickets, allowing many more fans to get to see Josh perform and interact with the fans. I would like to see more artists try this format. I will look forward to getting the DVD, I really enjoyed the performance!
