I get to the theater, only to find out that the Encore Thursday showing had been cancelled. I'll have to wait for the DVD to see the arena production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Just could have been cool to also see it on the big screen.

Fandango and Fathom Events did not bother to let the advance ticket buyers know that the movie had been cancelled. Luckily I found out before I drove to the theater. I know that other people did NOT find out until they arrived at the theater. This is unacceptable. When we buy tickets in advance, we give our email addresses so there is no excuse that we couldn't receive a message stating that the show has been cancelled. We should also receive an automatic refund. From what I have heard, I have to contact Fandango and ask for a refund. Why can't it be automatic?

Never got to see it. The showing was cancelled 4 hrs before it was to start. Was not informed until we got to the theater. It would have been nice if we got notification earlier. Did not receive email concerning cancellation and refund until 11:47PM ( 7 hrs after AMC knew of cancellation). Very disappointed.

I am sure that I would have loved it if I had seen it. It was cancelled and I did not find out about the cancellation until I arrived at the theater. The ticket person was very professional but had no answer for why it was cancelled. He was very kind and offered to let me view any of their regular run features. Will Superstar be shown in the future?

I bought a ticket online yesterday afternoon, drove to the movie theater and found out that the showings were cancelled. I got a full refund, but I would have appreciated being notified before driving there. Even though I liked fandango on facebook the cancellation notice didn't show up in my newsfeed. And if Hurricane Sandy was the reason for the cancellation, just say so instead calling it circumstances beyond our control.
