Canadian actress Jennifer Finnigan cut her teeth on the popular soap The Bold and the Beautiful in 2000 (playing Bridget Forrester for almost four years), and starred in the made-for-TV movie The Stalking of Laurie Show the same year she started on the series. Finnigan was comfortable with the medium of TV, and she would return to it with a recurring role on the popular show Crossing Jordan, on which she played pathologist Dr. Devan Maguire. The actress followed that up with a lead role on the quirky comedy series Committed (2005), in which she played the cheerful and eccentric Marni Fliss.
