A quiet accountant (Milan Plestina) is convicted of a crime and sentenced to spend 12 years in a high-security prison. He soon discovers that the guards are as much a threat to his safety as the other inmates, witnessing brutal violence, torture, sexual assault, and cold-blooded murder on a daily basis.
