Jack the Giant Slayer was okay.
by
Jack the Giant Slayer is a movie I would want to buy, but not obsess over. Some parts of this movie might be intense for young kids, with giants bitting of humans and animals heads, but it is far enough away so you don't see any blood. There is a bit of grief when one solider dies, and there is a bad guy ( of course) who kills people on the rescue mission. There is some obvious green-screen effects, and you can tell that the giants were CG, but they did a good job anyway. There were awesome action parts, and I loved the set of the movie. The plot was well written, with a bit of humor all around the movie. This movie is good, but I warn you I myself, got a little bit scared at some fighting parts, which was maybe a little to intense. The beginning and middle were good, but I thought the end was a bit rushed up. Altogether, Jack the Giant Slayer is a good movie for ages 9 to adults. I would give it a 7.5 out of 10.
