Definitely a great movie! It was a lot of fun to watch. Kept me focused the whole time and wanting to know what was going to happen next. A great movie that I would definitely recommend seeing.

Slow week for movies, Giantslayer is slow as well

My husband enjoyed the movie. I thought the leading lady was way too old for the hero and no chemistry. The 3D special effects weren't anything special. I also thought it wasn't appropriate for children. The two headed giant seemed rather distasteful. Yuck. Does Hollywood test drive any of these movies? There are lots of books out there with great plots. Surely, something better has to come along to the theaters.

Although probably intense for younger viewers, this movie is a blast for big kids. The art, acting, humor, and sense of grandeur all make for great big-screen viewing. The 3D is well-done and completes the experience. Catch this in a theater while you still can.

If you want fairy tales and special effects done right, you might want to turn away from this film because it will put you to sleep at even the slightest.

I loved this movie. The story line was great (action, romance, adventure) and the effects (three D and I Max) really added to the enjoyment. This is not for really little kids - I think it would be a bit scary for them. However, I think from 7 or 8 years on - it's a wonderful movie!
