I took my wife to see this. Definitely her type of Spy movie, lots of action, etc. I prefer movies that challenge me, or teach me something. Frankly, I fell asleep thru half of this despite the caucophony of noise on screen.

Action packed movie

It was a really good movie, good story line and plenty of action to keep you on the edge of your seat. The beginning was a little slow but it didn't take long to get intense.

Great characters and plot. A must see! Keeps you on the edge of your seat! And of course, the romantic twist just makes it great for the ladies!

I thought the movie was great. My husband said the critics panned it, but I think they need their heads examined. As with all the others in this series, the movie was fast paced and kept us on the edge of our seats. It had a strong and believable story line and the acting was great. It's worth the $12.50.

The action is good but Jack Ryan ultimately disappoints

The latest in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series features reasonably good acting and action sequences. Unfortunately, it is ultimately undone by a Russian bad guy played by director Kenneth Branaugh who is so evil it's hard to believe and Jack Ryan's Rain Man-like ability to solve complex problems in a rapid fashion which simply don't ring true. Although I normally enjoy Keira Knightly's youthful innocence, her relationship with Chris Pine suffers from a lack of chemistry. Wait for video on this one and even then you're likely to be disappointed
