How can you NOT love this movie? The story tugs at your heart-strings and shows the true meaning of friendship and being of good character. It's a good lesson especially in these days for kids to see and learn. When you reach out to your fellow person, you receive back in return as you merit it. My only wish was that it was shown in its true form...black and white. Truly a memorable film that is a true classic for Christmas and all year round.

A Christmas Classic!

Now among the most popular American films of all time, Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a man who constantly gives up his own dreams to help others realize theirs. But at a crucial moment in his life, when all seems lost and he has reached the end of his rope, an angel helps him to see what the world would be like had he never been born. What can I possibly say about this wonderful family film that hasn't already been said? Originally released on Christmas Day in 1946, It's A Wonderful Life wasn't a huge box office hit. It wasn't until the 1980s when it aired on television stations annually throughout the country during December that it became the Christmas Classic it is today. I love this movie! I love the story it tells and the message it gives! In the words of one of my favorite critics, Joel Siegel, this is the kind of movie that brings out the tears!
