This Charley Chase short has more gags than plot. His wife, Sappie (Katherine Grant), comes from a snobbish family -- her sister has married a wealthy man and her mother turns to her and remarks, "It's too bad you didn't marry money instead of apple sauce." Husband Charley is an entertainer, and not a very good one -- he can't play spoons and water glasses without causing breakage, so he decides to try "something new" -- a Chaplin imitation (considering that the time is 1925, he's about ten years too late)! Ultimately he decides to get an actual job which he loses because he's made a spectacle of himself. As he drives his little car down the street, he sees that his brother-in-law's behemoth auto has broken down. He offers to tow it, but as soon as he hits the gas, his own car runs right off its axle. ~ Janiss Garza, Rovi
