I thought that it was well done. I'm from Maine and have been on the island probably 5-10 times over the years) where the movie was shot many years ago. The photography was great, the scenes were pretty realistic and I think that they caught the essence of Maine island personalities quite well. Most Maine fishermen and lobstermen are independent, stubborn teenage boys that never quite grew up and this depects that aspect (partciularly for the younger men) quite well.

I've also spent a fair bit of time over the years with people who live on other Maine islands outside of tourism season and tney are pretty similar to the characters displayed in this movie.

I now live in VA, but admit that seeing the movie made me want to go back and spend time along coastal Maine. My wife felt hte same way.

It was an interesting story and well worth seeing.

    Well worth seeing.

Having lived in Maine, not too far from the location in the film, I can see truth in the characters and their lives. The movie is well done and worth seeing.
