Iron Man 3 was a great sequel and follow-up to the current Marvel series. While a lot of people found hate for this movie primarily because of the surprise character twist in its villain, I thought it was a great way to take the story. Go see this movie, one of the best of the MCU!

The movie was just plain out AWESOME. Acting was very well done by all the cast. The movie was fill with it's moments of laughs, scares, and just sheer EPICNESS! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SEEING THIS MOVIE IN IMAX 3D! The movie is filled with many twists and really just comes together well! If you have not seen the movie yet I only have one question for you; WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?! Grab your friends, your kids, your wife, your girlfriend, your next door neighbor and just go see this movie!!!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! I GIVE IT A 10 OUT OF 10!!!!!!!

I was anticipating Iron Man 3, but left wondering, "What happened"?
They made Pepper Potts character more powerful than Iron Man in some scenes. When he tried to use his suit it malfunctioned most of the time, and when she used it , it seemed to work every time...
Towards the end of the film, I was hoping for the moment when Iron Man would use all of his weaponry and emerge the hero. But once again we see Pepper Potts using the Iron Man suit to save the day...
It was great to see all of the IM's fly in to save the day, but where did they go when Tony was getting beaten up by the bad guy? You never see any of them again, until Tony tells Jarvis to blow them up....
Ben Kingsley could have really added a lot of power to the role as the Mandarin, if he had remained that character throughout the film.
They changed directors...Why change when IM was going well already?

I really wanted to like this film. I really did. Shane Black is a great Director (If you haven't seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, go see it. It's awesome). But this film is the most unfocused Marvel movie yet, a frightening sign of things to come. The story is the weakest out of the three movies, and oftentimes doesn't really take itself as seriously as I wanted it too. Something happens 3/4ths into the movie that disappointed me greatly. I won't give it away here, but it has to do with the main villain, and is a perfect example of why the humor fails. It seemed more like a parody of an Iron Man film than it did an actual Iron Man film. For the first time, I was also tiring of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark. His schtick is becoming monotonous, he makes decisions that are completely out of character for him, and he comes across as an a-hole, not the witty, charming playboy philanthropist of previous films. Overall, this is one of Marvel's weakest efforts.

Although I think it wasn't as good as the second Iron Man, I think that this was good in its own right. It had enough action, and kept moving through the entire movie. There weren't any slow parts except in the very beginning, and although it was a little over 2 hours, it sure didn't feel that way. It was good.
