Love the fact RDJ did a lot of the acting outside the suit. GP was awesome too and kicked but in end ending. Ready to go see it again!

I really enjoyed Iron Man 3. Fans of the comic may be put off by the character of Mandarin, but there was humor, special effects, and twists. The perfect formula for an entertaining summer film. However, the first Iron Man is still by far the best.

LOVED the movie!!! I saw Iron Man 3...3 times on opening day!!! The 3rd show I attended was in (so-called) IMAX. I said "so called" because the theater's idea of an IMAX presentation is showing the movie on a "regular" sized movie screen...and charging people $15 per ticket. This is NOT a true IMAX presentation! Sure, the picture & sound quality was superb...but...without the huge, HUGE IMAX movie screen...it was NOT an IMAX feature. This movie theater is cheating the people of Amarillo, Texas!!!

This was my first experience with IMAX 3D and none the less I am forever "hooked". The CG effects immersed you in the movie with the use of the 3D graphics and surround sound. Exhilarating action and the all so familiar outside of the box logic of Tony Stark leaves you on edge and wanting more. If you have not experienced IMAX 3D, this would be the movie I'd recommend you to do so.

Iron Man 3 continues to build on the Marvel Movie Universe (MMU) version of the comic book version of Iron Man to good effect. Borrowing heavily from the Warren Ellis and Matt Fraction comics story lines, it departs drastically in many other ways; e.g. identity of the Mandarin, Stark's surgery, etc. If the comic book fans can accept that the MMU Iron Man story differs in many ways, the core characters of Stark, Hap, Rhodes and Potts remain true to the overall comics' rendering and simply enjoy the ride.
Visually, the film is a knock-out and the action is truly astoundingly massive. Each of the actors rise above it all but Kingsley's Mandarin, is superb and a real delight. The only plot device that I had a bit of trouble with was Stark's anxiety. It's not fully explained sufficiently enough for this viewer.
A great summer movie and a respectable addition to the mounting MMU canon.
NOTE: Some of the action may be too intense/loud for kids 7 and younger.
