Iron Man 3 had its good moments, and its bad moments. The extremis part, good moment. The mandarin was a F-ing horrible moment. I just hope that they didn't ruin Mandarin to the point where a decent movie could be made with him as the main villain. All in all it wasn't a horrible movie. If your luke warm about seeing it though. Wait for the dvd. You will probably be glad you did. If you can't wait to see it. Go and enjoy the good parts... They are there.

From the early trailers, I expected something rather dark, brooding, and exploring the profound effects of a life changing experience (a la The Avengers) as Tony Stark went back to living his "normal" life.
What I experienced was something which wanted me to suspend my disbelief too far (even for an Ironman movie). It was a bit insulting.
My oldest and his two friends (12 yrs old) LOVED it. They gave it an average of 8.5 out of 10.
For me, it was probably the worst of the three. It felt like this movie tried to be so many things, but it left me feeling shortchanged on most levels. It was a shotgun approach which failed to hit many of the targets (sub-plots) it tried to address.
Having said all that, I actually enjoyed Ben Kingsley's character in the end, and I liked the Air Force One sequence with Ironman to the rescue. The rest of the movie seemed either "forced" or too much fluff and not enough substance. Overall, not bad, but definitely NOT good.

this movie was full of action packed surprises, edge of seat drama all the way through, It was amazing. You must see this one in 3D.

Like the story, special effects, acting was OK, 3D was a waste, little to no 3D effects used. See it in 2D because for this movie 3D wasn't worth the extra money.

I AM A HUGH COMIC BOOK FAN. I EXPECTED THE MANADRIN CHARACTER AND HE WAS NOT EVEN IN THE MOVIE. THIS MOVIE WAS BUILT UP TOO MUCH HYPE AROUND THIS CHARACTER AND HAD ANOTHER VILLIAN INSTEAD.
WHOEVER WROTE THIS STORY FOR THE MOVIE AND WHOEVER DIRECTED SHOULD GET AN F FOR EFFORT. D+ FOR THE MOVIE. I AM ALREADY TELLING FRIENDS DO NOT WASTE TIME AN ENERGY AN $$. WAIT FOR RED BOX AND PAY THE $1.00. THE SNACKS WAS WORTH MORE THAN THE MOVIE. IF THE MOVIE CRITIC RATE THIS MOVIE ABOVE A C - THEY ARE GETTING PAID TO GIVE IT A GOOD REVIEW. I USALLY WATCH THE MOVIES 2X OR MORE CUZ I ENJOY THEM AND INCASE I MISS SOMETHING. IN THIS CASE THE MOVIE WAS MISSING SOMETHING. EVERYTHING. YOU COULD NOT PAY ME TO WATCH THIS AGAIN. I AM HOPING THE "THOR" MOVIE WILL BE BETTER. WHAT IS THERE NOT TO SPOIL? TOO MUCH HYPE FOR A MOVIE BUILT AROUND A CHARACTER WHO IS NOT EVEN IN THE MOVIE?
