Iron Jawed Angels
This is one of my favorite history storytelling films ever.
A riveting, heart wrenching, grounded movie about the struggle of suffragists who fought for the passage of the 19th Amendment.
And believe that struggle was a STRUGGLE. These women risked losing themselves in sacrifices to fight for the right for women to vote. While being thrown in jail, force fed through feeding tubes. Dealing with chauvinism and battling public opinion.
A GREAT MOVIE TO SEE.
