Part of the long-running British mystery series based on the stories by Colin Dexter, Inspector Morse: Promised Land was first aired in the U.K. in 1991. Inspector Morse (John Thaw) and Sergeant Lewis (Kevin Whately) travel to Australia to investigate the disappearance of a criminal informer who goes by the name of Mike Harding. While Harding's wife Anne (Rhondda Findleton) in unwilling to offer help to the detectives, the Australian police refuses to let Morse continue his investigation after another crime is committed.
