This movie was so much better than the first movie, and the first movie scared me to death. I was suspense from the start to the end, and left you to want to see the 3rd chapter. If you are looking for things to jump out at you at night totally MUST GO see this movie.

More scarier than the Trailers !

I was skeptical when I saw some of the trailers of the movie for it pretty much gave it away but was glad that there was more to it than that - more suspense, more scare and pretty much tied it the first insidious. A little too much going on with the storyline, kinda lost me for a while. I think on a scale of 1-100, Insidious is about 60% scary, suspenseful and terrifying all throughout the movie while ISC2 is 50% with a spike of 80% and The Conjuring is a very close 2nd or 3rd. It made me jump and cuss on several occasions which is not normal for i am always jaded with suspenseful horror films and i love suspenseful, horror, terrifying movies. Insidious - chapter 3 ? bring it !

What a Treat (and Trick)

I thought that the Conjuring was the only horror story that would be worth my time, but along comes Insidious 2 (coincidentally co-written and directed by the same James Wan). What a clever story that ties up the first installment like a Christmas package. The acting is first rate and the action non-stop. If you loved Insidious, you will really love this next installment.

Fell asleep two or three times...

Seeing this movie was tiresome and it's like watching a movie with a script that is nothing more than a retread of other scripts of the same genre. I fell asleep twice, maybe three times. Even though they try to make it scary, it's not. If anything it's extremely corny and there are a couple guys in it that have no business being actors. They are the two morons that seem to think they are spying while in their van on the paranormal activity going on in the haunted house. Except for Rose Byrne, the acting is pretty bad. The script is horrible, so is the editing and the direction. Two thumbs all the way down! And that's even if it makes a lot of money at the box office.
