Forget THE DEPARTED - INFERNAL AFFAIRS is the Real Deal

Tony Leung plays the good cop deeply embedded in a Triad organization and Andy Lau is the dirty cop leaking information to the same slimy boss in this ultra sleek Hong Kong import that was the basis for Martin Scorsese's popular 2006 re-mix THE DEPARTED. Here in the first installment of the trilogy we get a much more in depth schematic of the characters and an intense arc of the storylines. The high voltage star names carry through some rather dead passages in the second half, but picks up incredible steam by the knockout climax where all secrets are exposed, and honor from both sides are put to the test! A real treat for fans of this genre!
