Wondering what comedy veterans Janeane Garofalo and Larry Miller have up next on their movie slate? We've got your first-look at four new character trailers for the indie comedy General Education, out in theaters Friday, Aug. 24, in limited release. Here's the synopsis -

With high school coming to a close, and summer fast-approaching, gifted tennis player Levi Collins (Chris Sheffield) has a lot to look forward to, including beginning his college career with a full tennis scholarship. His plans take a dive, however, when he finds out he failed senior science and won't be graduating. In order to not disappoint his folks, he secretly attempts to finish summer school and graduate before his parents find out.

Chris Sheffield Trailer:


Levi Collins (Chris Sheffield) manages to pull a few strings to make it seem like he graduated high school, but the real challenge will be to earn a real diploma before his parents find out.

Larry Miller Trailer:

Levi's well-meaning dad (Larry Miller) piles on the pressure for his son to succeed in tennis. After all, he hails from two generations of tennis champs.

Janeane Garofalo Trailer:

Janeane Garofolo stars as the Collins matriarch, who fulfills her mom duties and tries to be the glue that holds her family together.

Maira Walsh Trailer:

Maiara Walsh is Katie Bradford, Levi's attractive classmate. While she earns Levi's affections, she's also quite a distraction from his studies.
