Great voices and acting- while sound was not as good as this years productions, it still was a treat to behold - thanks for putting it on.

If you love opera this is a must see from beginning to end. The entire production was wonderful, the sets, the voices, the acting were exquisite. I was only sorry when it ended because I couldn't get enough of it. I will see it again when next released.

Il Trovatore

I don't know how this could possibly have been better. The performers were letter and pitch perfect. If you've never seen and opera and want to give it a try, Il Trovatore is one of the best to start with. The music is spectacular and the story is a typical opera story. I wish I could have seen it live in New York. In the meantime, this is the way to see great opera. Sluggo in California

This opera was so brilliant that I'm going to look for the CD. I had seen this a while ago and sort of remembered the story...but I did't recall how wonderful the music and the arias were. the cast was just perfect...Sondra R., Dmitri H. and all favorites of mine. Loved the coloratura.

Marvelous and brilliant and thrilling. HOWEVER: the projectionist either cannot or does not control the intensity of the sound so in addition to being gigantic, this beloved opera was also delivered with ear-splitting intensity. If there is a way to set the sound level, caution the projectionist, opera afficianados would be a lot happier.
