a total waste of an evening! :( 2/10

My sweet husband got us free passes from his office to see the premiere of "I Know Who Killed Me". I'm a huge fan of thrillers and the last Lindsay Lohan flick I saw was "Mean Girls" and the film was funny enough. I don't care too much about the fact that Miss Lohan's had some troubles with the law lately; as long as she performs well in movies I think her personal life should not be confused with what's on the screen.

However, I could not get into Lohan's acting at all! She really killed - sorry for the pun - the creativity of this entire movie. All the other performances were great, and you could tell that all the other actors and actresses were very dedicated to this film. But Lindsay seemed bored, annoyed, and, well, very actress-y. I am in no way a performer of any kind, but I know bad acting when I see it. She made everything so one-dimensional and stiff.

I made a Fandango account JUST to warn others about how bad this movie is! Please, avoid it at all costs.

    Only if you liked "SAW"

This movie was a trip. It shows a lot of graphic torchure sceens which was shocking. If you liked SAW you will like this movie.

    Interesting plot

    by t0r2009

I know a lot of people thought the movie had a weak plot, I myself didn't see that. I thought it was a very interesting idea and was very entertaining. Though, there were some boring spots in the middle overall I thought it was a very good movie. The acting seemed good, the "gore" scenes were very graphic, and everything seemed real. The twist of the plot is the best part. I say go watch it, I didn't regret it.

    Worst movie i've ever seen

I honestly refrain from calling movies the "worst ever" just because I don't like them, but this movie was just SO BAD that I am not shy about saying it is the WORST MOVEI I'VE EVER SEEN! Not even top five worst - this is the worst of the worst! 50 minutes of graphic gory violence that only a sicko could enjoy and the rest of it is sex and cursing - only during the sex scene linday lohan only has two limbs. The end has some action, so if getting to it by watching crap that will make you sick to your stomach is worth 15 minutes of action at the end, watch the movie. Otherwise save your time, money, and sanity.

    so disappointing!

I'm one of the few Lindsay fans left, and boy, is getting hard to defend her when she gets arrested AND releases a terrible movie all in one week.

There's a reason why there are NO REVIEWS TO BE FOUND for "I Know Who Killed Me". Its because this movie is bad. Its not all Lindsay's fault. She's better when she's playing the bad girl, but her dancing and swearing aren't really anything different than we see in the tabloids almost every day. I thought Neil and Julia were just so-so as her parents, and that Jessica Rose was pretty bland.

The movie is just weird and it tries too hard to be artsy and it falls flat. I had hoped it would be amazing, and I left the premiere feeling let-down.

One of those movies where at the end everyone says "Are you Serious?"

    by lvbrook

I will be honest and admit that I do enjoy Lindsay Lohan as an actress and I felt that she did a great job in this flick. However, this movie started out with so much potential and just FELL APART at the end. It is hard to know where to begin. As I said, Lohan took a wierd role and did a good job with it however, you kind of wonder if she read the entire script before she signed on. First off, I want to warn you all that the movie relies heavily on gore. I am not joking, THE TORTURE SCENES ARE OVER-THE-TOP. Why am I telling you this? Because the movie relied heavily on shock value and once you get past that, the storyline falls apart. The ending gets pretty ridiculous...it as if the writer started out with an interesting idea, played around with it, started to get on a roll and then said "Crap, how do I end this?" I know everyone says it is horrible but I am giving it a So-So review because the acting was strong and the storyline had potential. However, the ending just gets silly.

Is there a rating lower than "Oh No!"?

I wish there was...maybe they could call it "I Know Who Killed Me" because this movie is the worst I have ever seen- not just this year.
The totally ridiculous concepts put forth bring the audience to laughter at inappropiatae moments. About half way through the movie when I saw it going in a totally ridiculous direction, I was wishing I had my DVD remote so I could fast forward and at least see what crazy plot lines came up before I walked out.
Her physical condition after being found was very sickening to me. I didn't want to think of someone as hot as Lindsay Lohan being disfigured in that way. It ruined the rest of the movie.
Another review said that some Lindsay skin was shown. There was some, but the lighting, backdrop, and makeup were so bad that it was as gross as the rest of the movie.
If you've got nothing better to do than watch a movie you haven't seen, see another one for the second time that you liked instead of this deplorable, ridiculous, poorly written movie.

    Pay Attention, people!

Lindsey does a killer job in this movie. The reason why people are saying its bad is because they're NOT PAYING ATTENTION! You have to watch every detail of the movie in order to understand it.

While in the movie, I had a woman answering her awful nokia ringtone cell phone and have a complete conversation AND a man choke on his candy until someone in the audience performed the heimlich maneuver. But I still understood the movie.

This isn't a movie for people who don't like to think. If you don't have time to think, don't go.

The gore in the movie is very real. Not for the faint of heart, though none of it is unnecessarily gruesome.

    See this movie!

    !!!

I hate when people write reviews without having seen the movie, but even though I haven't seen it, I just want to say....Don't rate the movie on whether or not you like Lindsay Lohan! Thats ridiculous! What about ALL the other people that made this movie? Also, who gives a damn what she does? What like she is the first actress with a drug problem? No, just the most publicized. Also, DON'T GIVE AWAY THE PLOT OF THE MOVIE IN YOUR REVIEW. That is TOTALLY RUDE. I was reading these reviews to see if I should go see this movie, and some JERK gave away the ending. That person should be blocked from writing any future remarks.

    Please Kill me

Like watching the Parent Trap on acid. Poor acting, even worse plot. Very predictable. Very unbelievable. I needed rehab after seeing this Lindsay Lohan flick. Let me guess, some disney director has always wanted to see Lindsay dancing stoned on a pole? So they made this movie where we get to see darn near every freckle she has and also see that whatever talent she had is completely gone. I usually can find something I like about every movie I see... not the case here. My favorite part was when I got to leave the theatre.

    BORRRRING

Well it started out ok, it was gruesome and it was entertaining, but the plot just sticks---Lindsey Lohan must have had fun filming this- she was able to drink and smoke, have a potty mouth, and be sleezy, so nothing real different than her reall ife!!! I was so stunned how the movie ended it made me laugh--really dumb ending....don't waste your money of this one

    Waste of Time...

I only sat through about 30 minutes before I decided to walk out of this piece of filth. The movie moved at a snail's pace. Each scene jumped around as if no organization had been put into place. Each subsequent scene had nothing to do with the previous! The "home video" atmosphere of the film caused an unsettling bout of nausea and cheesiness. This "feel" of the film was certainly NOT remedied by the acting. In fact the acting was so unbearable, you could not help but laugh at the ridiculousness of the entire film. Upon exiting a third of the way through this "movie," a theater manager was happy to provide rainchecks for another movie at another time. The manager also explained how the movie's plot finishes out. After hearing how it ended, I'm certainly glad I walked out when I did. Lindsay Lohan no longer has the snappy pizazz to hold the audience's attention. The 21 year old falling starlet is already a washed up has-been looking for a comeback. Don't waste your time.

    Good Stuff

I've seen a ton of movies, and I'm pretty judgemental of them. This wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but it was pretty good and I didn't have any regrets about paying to go see it. I really believe half the people who say they don't like this movie are biased because of Lindsay's off-screen lifestyle. Who cares. It's a good movie, keeps you interested the whole time, good twist, and Lindsay does some good acting. If you don't buy the whole stigmata thing, get over it, it's a movie. And if Jason Statham and opposition can survive a 400 mph+ plane crash into water in Transporter without being desintegrated (hardly a scratch)-then Lindsay Lohan can have a stigmatic twin. Let's rate this as a movie rather than your personal opinion of the cast, people. Come on now.

Too ARTSY for its own GOOD, no, seriously

I found this movie entertaining enough. The plot had a couple of weak points, but what horror flick doesn't?

The real reason so many people hated it was because there were a whole bunch of oddly placed Hitchcock references throughout the film that most viewers probably did not catch, but anyone who remembers "Marnie" would recognize it.

These scenes involved a lot of color motifs (blue and red as opposed to yellow and red in Marnie), very campy looking zoom-ins and fuzzy object flybys. It's hard to explain. Rent Marnie and then go see this movie.

Maybe the director was having a little fun with an audience he knew wouldn't get it, or perhaps he hoped it would get more attention from film critics than it actually did. The result, unfortunately, was that the movie came across as being really poorly made, when in fact, it just incorporated some throwbacks.
