Maybe it isn't as fresh as the first one, but familiarity isn't a bad thing. It was good clean fun for the family, in this case My 7 year old son and I, the wife stayed home to sleep in. I have read some of the reviews and honestly think you can tell the reviewers who are parents and those who aren't. It has some lessons as simple as they may be they are lessons that can always be reinforced, on how the treat and value friendship, that being part of the cool crowd doesn't make you right or a good person. It was enjoyable at times made me and my son and the others in the theater laugh. It wasn't a great movie but well worth the cost to get in.

I had high expectations, so perhaps that helped move my rating down a notch. It was a pretty good movie, but not spectacular like a couple of the previous ones. Overall, it's a good movie to see and I highly recommend. But don't enter with expectations that it will be the "Best Ice Age Movie Yet." :)

Went with little to no expectations and was pleasantly surprised at how entertaining it was. Lots of humor and good clean laughs. The increased number of characters opened the doors to a lot more creativity and left the movie hoping they would make more.

Since all other movies lately have drugs, sex, violence & bad language my husband & I went to see Ice Age:Continental Drift-what a wonderful surprize. very amusing and witty. And there are lessons to be learnedfor young and old.

Looked forward to seeing this with a small child who loved the first two Ice Age movies (me too) but this one was a waste of $, time, and performers; too scattered to catch our interest. I do not recommend spending the amount of $ movie tkts. cost these days for a child to view this film.
