I have to say, I wasn't expecting it to be as "adventurous" as it was. Good for families, boys and girls, adult humor sneaks in and the messages to young people are included without being preachy. This is only the second movie this summer where both kids (ages 7 and 11) have said they want to see it again. The other is Brave. I say go. I also say, we didn't see it in the 3D version and it was fine. The kids said they're getting a little tired of wearing glasses every time they want to see a movie. Plus, I saved a few extra bucks.

Usually in the fourth of any line of movies, everything is pretty rotten. However, in this movie series, the characters have experienced many life steps, and this one is no different. The squirrel was awesome, he could totally have been in the Matrix.

this movie is what you would expect of parents with an adolecent child and trying to keep her out of trouble, combined with the world shifting and moving with the animals trying to make it to a safe place. Add to this a separate adventure with dad and pirates and you have a new movie. The animation was great story wonderful and as always a happy ending. I'll probably buy a blue ray video when it comes out. It is cute and the kids will love it as well as the adults.

I took my three kids to see Ice Age 4 on opening day and they loved it. I liked it as much as they did. I am a big fan of the Ice Age movies. Perfect for the kids and enough humor for adults to love too!

The gang is back and off on another unplanned adventure. If you have kids you need to go. . .not as good as the first, but some good life lessons along the way.
