Took three kids (7-7-9). They were laughing and responding to the 3D effects. Clever for the parents. Funny for the kids. Sensible and effective 3D effects were well placed and didn't spawn motion sickness.

It's still got the original vibe or Ice Age, a bit diluted, but nice. I don't think the pirate scene sold it for me. But I still found myself laughing and re-living the fun of Ice Age's characters!!

Endearing characters in an entertaining movie

At times very funny in a slapstick way. The dialog is not as smart as in previous Ice Age movies but the emphasis here is on using popular stars as new characters. The kids connected with Peaches and Drakes character. The plot line is simple and very action oriented. The 3D was well done. I did not find the humor as strong as in the past but the action scenes carried the day.

On Sunday afternoon I took my 10 year old son. Theater was about half full, lots of families. I think it started off a little slow but got going once the shelf started moving. Liked the pirates and my son really enjoyed it. Great family show.

This movie was touching, fun, and funny. Surprisingly there was a lot of action in it as well for a kids movie. Ray Romano was great the father and lead maled wooley, and the rest of the cast was just perfect in their roles as well, this movie is for young and old but don't take my word for it, see it for yourselves.
