while i thought the movie was merely "OK", my daughter (as well as the other kids in attendance) loved it. i will say this, 'tho: the 3D effects are remarkable & might be enough of a reason alone to check it out.....

Great movie! I love all the Ice Age movies, this one is no exception. I especially liked to see it in 3D. It is a movie that is enjoyable for all ages.

The movie was funny. But it may not have been the funniest Ice Age movie, or we're just getting used to it, and it's not as funny anymore. The kids enjoyed it, and were glad they saw it at least.

I think if you have seen all the other ice age movies, you definately have to see this one too. Not one of my favorites but it did have some funny moments. I am really in between so-so and go....the 6 -7 year old party kids liked it, one girl and four boys. : )

Ice Age:Continental Drift

My six-year-old grandson and two-year-old granddaughter were totally invested in the story and characters, She exited the theatre saying, in a much-too-loud voice, "I loved Holy Crap!!!" I do believe they said, "Holy CraB," but who can argue with a two-year-old who KNOWS what she heard?! The six-year-old, who loves to read the credits, said, "Can you believe that JENNIFER LOPEZ did the voice of Shira??" Frankly, I almost dozed a couple of times. I do have a complaint about the theatre where we saw the film, UA Court Street, Stadium 12 on Court Street in Brooklyn: they turn the sound up so loud that it not only interferes with the enjoyment of their films but I fear it will damage the hearing of the young kids who attend their films. If enough people complain perhaps they'll turn it down permanently!
