?I LOVE YOU, BETH COOPER? -- Can a Nerd rehabilitate himself via Public Comments? = Rating: 7 of 10 stars (per an advance screening).

This is a mildly charming, generally sweet film mainly aimed at a teenage audience (which seemed to ?relate? to & enjoy it). Nerdy high school valedictorian Denis (PAUL RUST), urged on by his best friend Rich (JACK CARPENTER), gives a grad speech in which he makes comments about classmates? calling one stuck-up, one a bully, one gay, & one ? Beth Cooper (HAYDEN PANATIERRE) ? as being the object of his love. With a hidden agenda (including upsetting her current boyfriend Kevin ? played by SHAWN ROBERTS), Beth & 2 girlfriends (Cammy, played by LAUREN LONDON, & Treece, played by LAUREN STORM) show up at Denis? grad party. As the girls & guys spend time together, there are the ?usual? high-jinks-- getting drunk, driving badly, fighting, making out, etc. It?s not especially clever or funny or very boisterous, but you end up understanding & ?pulling? for the good guys. The decently-acted film achieves what it sets out to, namely, make some gentle observations about difficulties in growing up

    Good. Worth going.

Not amazing, not the best movie "EVER" but, is worth the cost of admission. Some good laughs and better yet, some good life lessons.

    I Love You, Beth Cooper

Beth Cooper is an excellent must-see movie. The film starts with high school valedictorian Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) stating to the entire gymnasium that he's had a crush on cheerleader Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere) for six years. Denis' speech upsets everyone except Beth, who thinks it was "sweet," giving Denis the courage to invite her to a party at his house that night. This movie was extremely touching and teaches teenagers not to give up on their dreams, and if they truly believe in something it might just come true.

    Beth Cooper is Hot!!!!

I really enjoyed this movie. It had a good flow and told a good story about how highschool can be for some people. Beth cooper is freaking Hot!!! and her friends weren't bad either. I enjoyed the characters, good bad guys and awesome good guys. It is what it is a teen flick but worth seeing.

Great movie, I very much enjoyed it.
I think that it is more for young adults and above.
    The PG-13 might be misleading.
    Although, I really enjoyed it.

    I Love Beth Cooper Too!!!!!!!!

This was by far the funniest movie i have ever seen. And I Recommend this movie for people between the ages of 13 and about 25. No freaking person over 25 has the right to review this movie unless your a insignificant blob. with no life.

Looking for something better than this

    by norm_a

Hayden Panettiere acting was good but Paul Rust's acting brought the movie down. The story was choppy but there was some funny and serious moments. If you are junior or senior in high school, you will enjoy the movie and its message..

    Great Movie

When the movie came out it got poor reviews but I am the type of person that has to see it for myself. I am so glad I did. It was extremely funny and for a comedy it lived up to its billing. I thought that it demonstrated the life of a high school graduate very well from the perspective of a nerd and the popular girl. If you are looking for family movie I would recommend I love you beth cooper, it was a thrill to watch. I like it so much that I went to see it twice.

    So not worth it

Two long hours of sexual comments and typical high school boy dreams.
I was not enjoying it and not really laughing. Seems like it was written by a teenage boy.
Not worth the money and not entertaining.
