Thank Gawd The Projector Broke!
We ended up leaving for 2 reasons, the projector kept freezing up and we couldn't stand another moment. This may have worked well in book form but in movie form, it was like watching paint dry. It was extremely slow moving and a film about paint drying would have been more exciting. I did like Elizabeth Pena's character Lolita but unformtunately there were more scenes of driving around the desert and reflecting on life. It made "My Dinner With Andre" seem like Indiana Jones.

Grateful to be me...
A charming glimpse into the life of a, more common than not, family unit. Strong hispanic flavor with occasional sub-titles, but for the open minded, this movie crosses into all cultures as life unfolds before, and around us. Go with the intent of letting your emotions be entertained! Look for ways to connect with the characters and the story will grip you till the end as it did me. AAAAA+
