Jenifer Lawerence became a star from the Great X-Men First Class and Hunger Games, so when I first saw the tralier for this, I was very excited to see this. I walked in ready for a few good scares with my friend. I had high hopes for this because the theatre was full of people, just my age. The only good thing about this is the twist ending, that leaves it up for a sequel no! Jenifer Lawrence tries her best as Eliza, but she mostly fails because of a very bad script. Max Theriot isn't that good either as the psycho of the flim. $22 wasted. If you must see this so called horror flim, rent it on video

Not one for "scary" or horror flicks, I went with friends anyway. I was surprised to find that there was NO gore(which is what I hate about most scary movies)..you never really saw much of what was happening, but you knew it was going on...very suspenseful, with plenty of unexpected twists and turns. And another shocker-no cursing. I would definitely recommend it.

Horror? Hardly. We got a lot more laughs than scares out of this. Some of the best scary movies start with a trickling plot line but when the thrills and screams kick in they never stop. The only good scares I got were a spattering of shock factor screen flashes and loud noises. If you want a real scare, stick to something else!

i know most people below are like "maybe I'll go" i don't no about them, but i Love scary movies! its not that scary but its enough to make my grandma jump out of her skin. its more of a movie that will make you go either "Oh my god!" or "that's.....just... WOW!" i would give it a 4 1/2 starts because of the whole shaky camera thing. i recommend it for ages 13-40. i say only 40 because my grandma almost had a heart attack! I liked the movie over all! so yea... you should go!
