It was a really awesome movie that's my opinion

Decent Thriller

This movie definitely had me on the edge of my seat. Great movie.

Really slow and predictable

The previews were better than the movie. To review it without giving it away for those who want to see it, I will do my best. The story is slow, they spend almost the entire movie just setting relationships up, but there is no tension or anything to it. Just boring. The ending was predictable and I was glad it was over. My husband, who had a higher tolerance for slow and boring, thought the same thing I did. If you are looking for gore, this movie has none.

A Prepatory Movie for a Sequel

This was not at all what i expected. It really was not a thriller but a riddler. The ending was more or less a set up for a possible sequel will probably wont work either.

Despite what other reviewers are saying, this movie was great and I really enjoyed it. It is not one of those types of movies that will constantly and annoyingly make you jump out of your seat. It will surprise you and make you bite your nails (I'm guilty of it haha). Over all, I think it was well written and I like the ending... it's different from all the "scary" movies out there. Don't let the bad reviews discourage you from checking it out... I almost allowed the bad reviews to convince me to not watch it but decided to do so and I really liked it.

wow...really????

Let's see...a horror flick rated Pg-13? You get what you ask for....I LOVED the story...very interesting. Yeah...made me jump here and there, but so will a spider crawling down your hand while you're daydreaming about your date last night. My main gripe was the leading actress...with her nosey ass. There were so many times I just wanted to see her just get killed off...AND her ***** of a mother. It had a few twists and whatnot...and as long as you're not watching it with a good old fashion horror movie in mind, you'll be OK.
By the way...wonder why the call it Last House On The Left???? Because all the other houses were taken.

this is not a good

No era lo que esperaba

No estoy segura si es una película de terror, pero tiene su estilo, por lo menos no es una de esas películas en donde ya sabes lo que va a pasar, la trama fue muy creativa, por un momento pensé que era romántica. Pero me sorprendió al final, me gusto.

It's as if the producers didn't care to make this movie quality. I got my money back after watching this crap. Just like all the other B-horror movies, it should have gone straight to DVD.

not what i expected, but good

It wasn't exactly what I expected, but it wa still a good movie. I definitely wasn't expecting anything that happened.

I highly recommend this movie to horror fans.
Jennifer Lawrence was excellent in her part and did not come off as being a disty victim. Her presence is strong and a worthy adversary to the pyscho in the movie but you have to wait til the end to know who it is.

I went to see this movie because of Jennifer Lawrence. I just think she is great and this movie did not disappoint me. I like a non bloody type suspense movie with a twist at the end and that is just what this was. It reminded me a little of a Hitchcock type movie and would definitely recommend it.

Slow in the beginning, kinda cool twist at the end.

The acting was bland and the overall flow of the movie is not so great. Once the action picks up and you start connecting the dots of what the big twist is, the movie gains some appeal. The twist at the end of the movie is pretty cool and makes you go "ah, that's what happened!".... But then that's about it. Not a bad movie overall.

OMG

The dude is a psycho and the female is a nosey broad. If she would've stayed home and minded her business everything would be ok. People like her... Always in someone else's mix. ???? thumbs down for the nosey chick. You are not Velma and this ain't Scooby Doo

worth seeing once

Wasn't very impressed. Not terrifying at all. Worth seeing once I suppose.
