Hotel Transylania Rocks

Took my 7 & 8 year old girls to this movie and we have a grand time. The whole theater laughed, I cried, and we all danced. The story line was kid and adult friendly. I thought it was one of the most adorable animated films that I've seen lately. Go, You'll all enjoy it.

This movie doesn't give a bad scream!

Hotel Translyvania is one of the best animated monster movie of all time! Heck, this was WAY better then Twilight (it even makes fun of it in one scene!). Mavis and Johnny-Stein romance is so touching, so heartfelt! Some funny scenes from charectors like Wayne the Werewolf, Frank, Jonathan, and even Dracula! Must see for all ages of monsters (No humans allowed!).

Definitely see!

I'm real serious about checking the reviews before I make a decision on certain things. Especially where my children are concerned. Reading IMDB, the reviews were mixed but not bad enough to keep us away. And I'm glad we went!! My girls and I absolutely loved it. With the main plot being that of an overprotective dad not wanting his baby girl to grow up and not need him anymore, there was a side moral that you can't base your whole opinion on just a few of the facts. Very well written/directed with a great acting crew of voices. I think this movie is good for all ages, though there may be a couple of minor (brief) "scary" parts where Dracula (dad) shows his temper in rage. Definitely a must see!

Excellent movie would go to see it again. Couldn't believe how all the young children laughed when the parts were funny and how this little youngster about 3 jumped off her mothers' lap and started dancing when the band played and the monsters started dancing!! Just LOVED it!!!!
Great for ALL ages....

Spooktacular fun for the whole family! Blah! Blah! Blah!

It was funny to see what monsters do to unwind, get-a-away and enjoy themselves! The werewolf family was great; poor daddy werewolf can't sleep with all the were-pups keeping him up all night. Haunted table surfing, a human detecting rat, monster Bingo, decomposing composers, ghouls, a spa for spooks... So many funny moments and gags.
We have to see it again to take-in all the monsters, in 3-D! The hotel itself is kinda of like a monster. Definitely a film you can watch a few times so you can catch all the jokes and see all the amazing monsters. Too many to count! (no pun intended)

Something to do with the kids

It was cute. The story was very sweet. A little slow at times for some adults but a huge hit for kids. Definitely worth seeing if you are out with the kidos.

Not too bad...

Kids were entertained and it had some funny moments, but it did not really pull you in. It was more like an hour and half long Saturday morning cartoon. Kids were happy, but did not really even seem to remember that they saw it (or even talked about it) the next day.

So Funny!!

I didn't expect it to be fabulous. But I absolutely loved it. I would suggest going to anyone. I'm 20 and I thought it wouldn't be funny for me but it was.

LOVED THIS, blah, blah, blah

A bunch of us went last night and I had never been to a movie with a line entering the theater before. All the kids left the movie quoting parts from the movie and my friends and I all agreed that we will have to buy it is soon as it comes out. The kids even want to be the characters from the movie for Halloween. My son is in the kitchen right now, saying, "Blah, blah, blah". Definately a must see!!!

Awesome Flick! Adam Sandler at his best!

Hotel Transylvania is a great movie! This is a must see for all adults and children 10 and up. This is a fun adventure with great characters that is appropriate for a family outing. The comedic vocal talents of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, and Kevin James are in full bloom with a relational plot that is both fun and family-friendly. Well worth the $10 per ticket!

Fun Family Movie

I took my 2 kids (4 and 12) to see this movie. Great music, characters and story line. Actors selected to play the characters really brought them to life. Totally recommend!

Great morals for children to follow...great movie.

I took my 8 year old daughter and her best friend to see this movie yesterday. Every time I looked at them they were glued to the movie. After seeing the movie they both commented to each other that they wanted to see the movie again.
As a parent I could not be more happy with a child's movie than this one. The theme for the movie was about a traditional value in humans and if a man and a woman hit it off from the beginning and are really attracted to each other then they should trust their heart and go with it. I really think this traditional value is very important for children and it tends to get lost as we get older in life.

Definitely a great movie for all children to see unless you are gay and follow some other set of morals. I am sure some gay rights group will be offended by this movie because it shows a man and a woman and their attraction at first sight and how to trust you inner voice as it pertains to the person you are attracted to.

Monsters Rule Humans Drool

Loved the movie and so did my 4 year old. A new twist on the overprotective parent saving their pride and joy from the horrors of the 'real' world. Enjoyed how the plot came together with some of the typical drama but lots of laughs. A great look into how the 'other' half dies with laughs for the kids and chances for parents to laugh at themselves as well. It's not easy being a parent, single or otherwise, but I sure could use some of the moves Dracula uses :-D
