This movie exceeded my expectation. My whole family was laughing from start to finish. Adam Sandler did a great job being the Dracula and what I liked the most was that the movie was very current story wise. It's a must see if you like cartoon movies!

Like many others, I read critic reviews prior to taking my children to see this movie. It was mixed with many going on and on about how the first 20 minutes was basically it and the rest of the movie dragged. Some even going so far as to getting really detailed with deep critiquing lingo. Thank goodness I didn't pay attention to their crap. My kids could not stop talking about the movie after leaving the theater recalling bits and pieces of the movie with cackling laughter. As the adult of the bunch I was thoroughly entertained to say the least. The movie has a lovely message delivered simply and with phenomenal comedic tones. Needless to say, a great way to spend an hour and a half of your time along with the kiddos. Loads of conversation material for afterwards. Highly recommended!

While the movie was entertaining and visually great to watch, the message was not all that impressive. You only get the "ZING" once in your lifetime? Hmmm....wrong message to be conveying to children especially. ZING is non-enduring, feverish and immature.
I think this movie would of been much better if it actually had a deeper meaning.
I literally waited for this "birthday gift" that they kept mentioning in the movie. Finally, the moment came, and all her mother had to offer was the gift of ZING? You have got to be kidding me! What a waste of an opportunity to have offered a child something meaningful and of more substance in my opinion.
And what was up with those flees? For a minute there I had to cover my children's ears and eyes. Not really funny and totally unnecessary part of the movie.....again, in my opinion.
From a visual perspective, I give it an A. From a story line perspective, I give it a C-.
Overall - C+

I took my grandkids & we all just loved it.
I thought it was good that it had a message that helped the kids understand that 2 different raceses can come together & that things can change for the better.
But that's a grownups insight.
The kids laughted & gigglet & now my youngest wants to be a Vampire!!
I'm so proud of her!!!...lol
Have fun, enjoy......

It was a nice show. Not earth-shattering, but kept me giggling throughout the movie. Good storyline, but could have had a lot more opportunities to flesh-out (pardon the pun!) the descriptions of the guests.
One thing I really liked was the LACK of toilet humor that has become the staple of a lot of kids' films.
