I took my son to see Hotel Transylvania on opening night (not in 3 D). The trailers for this movie were excellent - I wish I could say the same about the film.
My 14 year old was mildly amused with the humor, I was less than mildly amused. I expected a balance of adult and child humor, as in most successful movies of this genre; needless to say, there was none.

Hotel Transylvania is a great movie for kids for several reasons. First, it makes monsters not scary, which is good. Second, it's got lolts of action. Third, it's sweet.
After the movie, everyone clapped. I don't think it was because it was a masterpiece, but just because it was fun, and also a little long..

Was a little disappointed in the movie. The plot was pretty weak and paying the extra $$ to see in 3D was a big waste. The theme was in poor taste in my opinion as well. All about zinging early and finding your one true love. Not a great sentiment for kids growing up. The main character's mother waits 118 years to tell her only daughter that the most important thing is to find love. Just didn't sit well with me.

This is for the little big kid and the kid at heart a "must see". Not so much for the smaller ones.... but just "so-so"... Nuff said

This movie exceeded my expectation. My whole family was laughing from start to finish. Adam Sandler did a great job being the Dracula and what I liked the most was that the movie was very current story wise. It's a must see if you like cartoon movies!
