    Hotel Transylvania Rocks in 3D!!

We took our 8 year old granddaughter to a 3:00 matinee show after school on Friday. I think because it was early there weren't many people in the theater. Well, I never heard my granddaughter laugh so much during a show as she did this one... Adam Sandler has definitely got yet another hit!!. I laughed, and I teared up at times, and had a great time watching the movie. The 3D was exceptional, but I would have liked to have seen it in IMAX 3D to compare detail. I highly recommend that everyone and anyone go see this amusing tale of Dracula finally realizing he can no longer "control" his daughter. I would definitely go see it again and WILL purchase the DVD when it comes out to add to my collection!

So glad i went to see this movie

i'm not the greatest fan of animated movies, but i absolutely adore animated Halloween movies. I am so glad i went to go see Hotel Transylvania. This movie exceed my expectations. Adam Sandler did a great job as Dracula. I don't typically like Adam Sandler movies, but i think he did a really good job in this one. The movie was filled with tons of laughter good for the whole family, even grandma ... The only bad thing i have to say about Hotel Transylvania, is if you don't like getting movie saying stuck in your head, then don't go, other than that have fun saying "BLAHHH BLAH BLAHHH" or "I didn't do that" for the next couple of days.. you'll know what i mean once you see it!

Nice movie, the kids liked it.

This movie was like eating Tofu. it did the job, you'll be full afterwards and it was bland. The jokes we're not there, its was sort of a Despicable Me rip off with the whole single Dad thing and the monsters. There were a few parts of rushed plot hoping that a simple action can create a bond. Again the kids will like it, the adults will tolerate it.

    Adam Sandler at his best

I appreciate Adam Sandler's movies as he gotten older so much more than his earlier ones and this one is his best yet. Family oriented, entertaining for both kids and adults and a great pro-family theme. The voices from Kevin James, David Spade and Fran Drescher were hilarious. Kept waiting for the requisite Rob Schneider appearance though.

We saw it in 3D and it was well worth the extra ticket price. The effects were amazing.

A must-see for families looking for a funny movie.

    Delight for all ages

    by Mehlsky

Hotel Transylvania, a charming take on Movieland's most famous monsters, makes wonderful entertainment for all ages. The creatures are endearing and quirky, and not at all scary. A top-notch cast of voices takes a new look at the creepy creatures and makes them lovable. The 3-D is stunning.

Freakin hilarious. Great for all ages 2- 102. Nothing scary but plenty of action. 3-D is done perfectly. Great original story and new take on old monsters. Take your kids and your parents. No one will be disappointed

It was a great family movie. Definitely want to see it again.

    by acole77

I took my son to see it for his birthday, and we both love it! I wasn't sure of it at first because of his age (5), till I read the other parents reviews, and then I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. We want to see it again! It was cute, funny, and interesting. I loved to hear Adam Sandler playing the Dracula, and he did awesome! There may be some parts, just like any other movies, that may disturb small children, like body parts being disconnected, and some small portions of adults behaviors, other than great movie!

    Hotel Transylvania

This was a great Family movie. It was visually appealing and very funny. A good"coming of age," theme with the over-protective, control-freak, Father, who has isolated himslef from the world to protect him, his daughter, and his fellow monstors. Great revalations into a changed mondern world helps, Dad, accept the inevitable "growing to go," that maturation brings.

Kids will enjoy this, but adults not so much

The movie seemed to drag on too much. It was the same boy meets girl story that we see over and over again. Keep in mind, Shreik did this as well, but this is no Shreik. No cute inside jokes that adults would find entertaining. Given that, the animation is very well done and so is the 3-D.

Finally! I TRULY "Kid Friendly" flick!

    by

I've found that the 3D pictures, since going over into the actual CG 3D don't bother my eyes near as much as the cartoon 3D pics did, so I've been able to enjoy these SO much more...
Right off the batt (pun) you KNOW it's Adam Sandler as the voice of Dracula... and so you know what to expect from the film...
The story was hilarious, if not more than a little corny (again, we know what to expect!). As with most "children's" films these days the jokes are NOT for the young, and make reference to many things that only those over 35 would "get", but it's still a very "kid friendly" flick.
The graphics were awesome; the story keeps you interested and it's fully "age appropriate"
I took my eight year old daughter and five of her friends, along with my 11 AND 19 year olds, and we ALL were dying laughing throughout...
    A MUST SEE! in 3D!
