Common Sense Media says OK for kids 8+ The Marx Brothers at their wacky best.
What Parents Need to Know Parents need to know that kids will be exposed to a fair bit of sexual double entendre. Much of it will go over the heads of younger children. African Americans in the movie are all servants and women are scheming and sexually manipulative.
  • Families can talk about how movie humor has changed and remained the same since the 1930s. Do today's comedies use as much physical humor as this one? What about the songs?
