Glen Close's narration was marvelous. I didn't realize it was her voice narrating until after the film. The aerial photography was incomparable. I have never seen a film before that was all aerial photography. This was thrilling. Frankly, the subject of the film was boring to me. I am a bit ashamed to admit this. The Q&A with the filmmaker was way too long. Also, even though I speak French, it was very difficult to understand his heavily accented English. THE SHOWING WAS FREE. IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTHWHILE!!! A great Saturday night.

awesome time travel from vast land to the various metropolis' all over the world! sad to know that our resources are being depleted by mankind. I oved the film. the MC was audible and tone inflection was dynamite. Cinematography was breathtaking. I attended the friday 4:40pm viewing and the audience included loads of kids under age 12. Although they were well behaved, i don't think the film was meaningful to them, unless they were taught about global resources, etc.

A Mind Opener

I loved this movie for all of the wonderful camera shots, the thoughtful narration and, mostly, the subject matter that really unites all of us. In a world often torn apart by selfish ambitions and contrasting ideologies, we are all still interested in having a beautiful place to call home. This movie is a mind opener in the sense that it gives us a global perspective on the word home, we all live together. But this is not an overly preachy or one-sided documentary. In fact, it is not just a documentary. It is also pure entertainment, an art movie even. You should see this movie.

Wonderful photography and powerful message if a little pompously delivered. Some of the sound track is rather loud and distracting but overall the effect is stunning and it should run and run. I hope the schoolkids who attended my showing, took the message in. Everyone should see this.
