Unobtrusively slipping onto Court TV's daytime schedule in February 2001, Hollywood at Large zeroed in on celebrities who were involved in crime, either as victims or perpetrators. Occasionally the series expanded from 30 to 60 minutes for a "special" telecast, such as its dissection of the Robert Blake murder trial. Originally airing from New York, the series became Court TV's first bicoastal production when it opened facilities in Los Angeles (which, considering the title, was only logical). The first host of Hollywood at Large was Wendy Walsh; beginning in July 2003, the series was anchored by former MTV vee-jay Karen Duffy. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
