  Mayhem and boobies

  If you are a limp-wristed intellectual "wannabe" that actually thinks that LIONS FOR LAMBS was a "thought provoking social commentary on current events" you will not like HITMAN. Stay home or go see LOVE IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA or something else you can discuss afterward with your friends over whatever herb ice coffee that you think makes you look cool.. If you like movies with guns, explosions, sword fights and boobies then HIT MAN if for you. Most of the offering from Hollywood suffer from too much dialog...not enough Kung-Fu. HITMAN will have none of that foolishness. Oh yeah...HITMAN actually does have a story line about "man against himself" and "redemption". This actually keeps things interesting between the violence and mayhem. Oh...and did I mention the boobies?

  really boring

  when I decided to go and watch this movie I seriously thought it was going to be atleast good.But after the first ten minutes of the movie, I was already bored. I even saw people leaving the room before the middle of the movie. Me and my boyfriend wanted to leave but, we paid too much to just trow it away so we stayed in hope that it would get better.   Hitman.

  Hitman was made basing the action and story on the popular video game "Hitman". I wasnt really excited to see this movie and I realized why after I walked out. There isnt much of a storyline, except for an agent (47) killing endless amounts of people to find out who set him up. The fighting and shooting seems to never end, but I guess thats what makes some action movies. Only thing I didnt understand was why the hitman had a barcode tattooed into his shaved head...doesnt that make him, as shown in the movie, easily identifiable? You can spot him from a mile away...

  Just got back

  The Movie was very good. The actor who played 47 was outstanding. It was a good adaptation of the game for the most part. i can see additional movies made in the future.

  Fresh Aspect

  This is a movie worth watching in theatre. Most people who have already played the video game will obviously appreciate it much more. It definitely appeals to a younger crowd. Older Critics like always down-play movies like this but guaranteed if your under the age of 30 you'll like this movie.

  Jury Was Wayyyy Out When We Went

  ...and I can say with all honesty that is no longer the case!! My husband and I couldn't see ANYONE being able to completely capture the complete emotional distance that embodies Agent 47, especially if one has played the game. We have, extensively, and I have to say that Timothy Olyphant did an impeccable job of capturing the essence of the character, truly. The storyline held our interest throughout the movie and the insertion of certain things familiar from the game were great additions. I think it was a wonderful adaptation as unfortunately, most movies derived from video games fall short. I would certainly love to see more of these in the form of sequels, as there is a plethora of scenarios to choose from! Bravo to the movie-makers on this one, if you like a lot of action and if you are familiar with the character at all, it's definitely a must-see. If you AREN'T familiar with the character, I would still highly recommend it. Cheers and long live Hitman!

  Plain Fun

  In my opinion... one of the greatest movies.

  I have been a big fan of all the Hitman videogames, and this movie did not disappoint. From start to finish, it was suspensful, eventful, action packed, excitement. If you are a fan of the Hitman games or just a fan of good action movies, go see Hitman!

  Cross-Marketing Works This Time

  We've seen video games spring up from hit movies and long-running comic strips and graphic novels, but the movie "Hitman" turns the concept upside down. The studios took a big chance building an action movie on a four-game franchise---but they won big with this one. Yes, the movie is good enough to stand on it's own---it will appeal to wider audiences than the just those who have played the video games. I had my doubts about whether Timothy Olyphant ("Live Free or Die Hard") would have enough physical presence to pull off the title role of 47, but I bought in five minutes into the film. This is a very well-made movie, with good pacing, good editing, and great action. (CAUTION: high body count here - not for children!) They hit the mark for building enough of the video games' production design to please those of us who play the games, while still having it make sense to those don't. The movie should spur renewed interest in the EIDOS games. Go see this one!

  video game comes to life

  Hitman is a great movie. from the way he walks to the he talks the video game comes to life before your eyes. Everything is done from the game and that is what makes it a great movie. the movie showed how it all got started with him and that great for people that dont know about hitman. the makers of this movie got it down packed. The fighting sence are the best, the show you who hitman really is. I use to play this game myself, i played it everyday after school and now im glad that they made a movie out of it brings back the good old days. Hitman is a great movie for people that like action because hitman brings awhole lot of it!

  Acutally saw the movie

  First off to those that say that hitman didnt have any emotions your absolutly wrong. I have played every game and saw the movie. The charcter in the movie followed perfectly with the game charcter. Not only did he not truly have any emotion other then mad that some one tried to kill him it fits perfectly. The plot was amazing with great twists the acting was super for not having any well known actors. The action was perfect with out going over the top. Not only was the movie entertaining it was pretty belivable. Plus i took a friend that hates video games and he enjoyed the movie as well. This is a action movie worth seeing makes james bond look like a girl. To all those that say the movie doesnt match the games obviously you didnt play all the games and dont have a clue what your talking about. To any one else that has time to kill and wants to see a great movie i recommend seeing this.

  Better then I expected.

  I went into the movie thinking that the acting was going to suck, but honestly it was a really good movie! The acting was good, and it was close to the video game. There could have been a bit more action in it, but the action that it DID have was amazing.
