We are Hitchcock fans, so we loved it. We actually went home after the movie and watched a couple of Hitch's films. Anthony Hopkins and Hellen Mirren are great. Helen Mirren for Best Supporting Actress? The movie has several great moments and lines.

I went expecting an ok time. Not what I got. No siree! It was riveting. It was a joy to watch Hopkins take on this tough role. Unless you stared at his piercing eyes you really didn't know it was him. The backstory of his relationship with his wife and her role in his moviemaking career was enlightening. Pure fun....get up off the couch and see it. I do not know why it is not showing on more screens......a shame really,

'Hitch' as he liked to called was an odd duck. He had a gift for presenting intrigue and suspense. Basically, this movie shows his emotional ups and downs in the creation of the masterpiece and classic, "Psycho". Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren were both great, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the movie.

It's a MUST GO and See movie for the holidays. Five-and-a-half thumbs up for both Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren. Anthony Hopkins as the master of suspense - very convincing! You would really think he was Hitch himself, the way he moves and talk. Helen Mirren of course, well... it's Helen Mirren - I could watch her just to peel potatoes.
Scar Jo also shines in this movie. Very well acted - the way she portrays Ms. Janet Leigh in this moviementary was exactly like it was in the original movie. There are times during the movie that you would feel they were actually filming the original Psycho. Nicely "well done".
Makes you wanna see the original Psycho all over again.

Hitchcock is brought to light by the wonderful lead actors. I believe Anthony Hopkins does an amazing job at being Hitchcock. I like how the movie takes place during his struggle of making one of his greatest films. I really like how, throughout the movie it flashes between Hitchcock and clips of Psycho, the movie starts out with one brother killing another, the start of psycho was the start of Hitchcock. I did not like how dramatic the movie actually was. I believe that certain scenes and situation like when he was trying to get the seal approved for the movie and he was completely sarcastic, that just seemed too unreal. All in all I would recommend this movie.
